A family-owned local business that shows its attentiveness to customers one haircut at a time. If you’re looking for a bougie spa that does fancy coiffures, massages and such, it’s not for you )though it does an excellent job with old-fashioned straight razor shaves). They’re not going to try to sell you a bunch of expensive lotions, shampoos, conditioners, ointments, tonics, unguents and other unnecessary merch, which is refreshing. What they do is provide excellent, attentive service for guys — a solid value at reasonable prices.
I had a very good experience in this salon. We took our 8 month old baby girl for her first hair cut. We requested a head shave with a blade. She is so gentle and careful trying to keep the baby calm. Very much recommended for someone who is looking for a first haircut with/without blade shave. Thankyou!
I don't understand the two and three star reviews. The first thing the lady asked when sat down was how I wanted my haircut. I gave her a number, as it correlates to the clipper, number 2 because that's how short I wanted it. You need to specify the length. I told her I just wanted to trim on top and as she was cutting the top I asked her to cut a bit more off the top and she did. She shaved my neck and trimmed the sides up really well and even trimmed my eyebrows. I've had hundreds of haircuts and this is one of the best ones I've had. Great attention to detail and well done. It was a 15 minute haircut. I only waited 15 mins to sit. I will definitely be coming back.
The service here is great! It's why you'll have to wait for your haircut! However, don't let that put you off from getting your haircut, etc, done here as they're fast AND good at their job. I won't be going anywhere else for my haircut.
I brought my brother, a resident of Hawkins Residential who I hadn’t seen in 6 months, in for an emergency shave. His hair was one big matted dreadlock and had to be removed. Mia and her teammates were truly a god-send. It was a miracle to find them open on an Easter Sunday, and then to find such compassion and kindness here really touched my heart. I’m so grateful for what they did for my brother, and I’ll definitely be bringing him back here if there are more hair issues next time I visit. I recommend them to everyone!
